Sarah and Andrew are just good people. Andrew lives with and provides full time care to his ailing grandfather and Sarah is a medical social worker focusing on elder care. I grew up next to my grandparents and it has been one of the dearest relationships of my life so to see two people dedicate their lives to the elderly made me love them all the more. You can see a little more about Andrew and his grandfather’s home in a wonderful article on Back Down South.
The first time I met Sarah and Andrew was on their wedding day – well, to be more accurate, their second wedding day. They married in a civiil service a few months prior to their proper ceremony in Alabama so that Andrew’s grandfather could be present at their nuptials. Their ceremony was held at a gorgeous private residence in Winston-Salem, NC. There was so many personal details – for instance, Andrew’s dad, Reverend David Hull, performed the ceremony. Their friends sang hymns during the ceremony and finally, Andrew’s bluegrass band played during the ceremony. It was truly amazing.
Many thanks go out to the vendors and my second photographer Jamie Lynn for helping make the day so beautiful. And a big congrats to the happy couple!
