I was thrilled to run across this marvelous post by Rebecca Rose Events of Cate and Brian’s gorgeous Graylyn rehearsal dinner that we shot back in October. Today I want to share some of my favorites from their stylishly elegant rehearsal dinner and their breathtaking, sunlit wedding.
Cate’s vision for her wedding was an elegant, classic affair and everything about this wedding had a glowy, almost ethereal feel and it was a pleasure to photograph. The Graylyn Estate is simply magical with its soft light, old world charm, and a stone gazebo as the ceremony site. It was the perfect backdrop for this fete and is truly one of my favorite venues. Cate and her bridesmaids got ready in the airy Gardener’s Cottage on the grounds. Brian and his groomsmen finished getting ready in the estate’s library. The guests were treated to cocktails on the terrace before dinner. The reception took place in the Atlantis Room – I love the way checkerboard floor and the lighting really made the mermaids and sea life on the walls seem a part of the celebration.
