I have held off on posting these for a while now and a cold, snowy day seems perfect to look back at this steamy, romantic engagement session!
Kellie and Jarett met and fell in love on a baseball field and now that Jarett is playing in the minor leagues, their story continues to revolve around America’s pastime. For their engagement session, we were able to get permission to shoot inside of beautiful War Memorial Stadium in Greensboro, NC. Every part of the stadium is gorgeous – especially the parts that are slightly decayed but all the more beautiful for it. As you know, I believe that braver is beautiful and can create powerful imagery. It’s not just something I ask of my clients. I also believe in putting myself into sometime-precarious situations in order to get THE shot. On this shoot, I have documentary evidence that bravery is beautiful that was taken just milliseconds before my camera was deserted by a fast ball. In the face-off between photographer and minor league baseball pitcher, I still say I won. Totally worth it!
