I had the rare pleasure of joining Treyci and Brandon for an Afterglow Session while they were honeymooning in\u00a0Asheville, NC<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>. Their wedding took place the week before in\u00a0Greenville, SC<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0and when Treyci called to ask me to come join them for the day, I was absolutely thrilled. \u00a0Seriously, I adore this couple-take a look at their\u00a0wedding blog post<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0to see why.<\/p>\n

Brandon proposed to Treyci at the\u00a0Biltmore Estate<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0so it was the perfect place to spend the day. Marissa and I arrived with the hopes of brilliant skies but what we got were brooding clouds and thunderstorms. \u00a0When the skies opened up, we hid out in the\u00a0Biltmore Conservatory<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>-a place of incredible beauty that should not be missed if you are near the\u00a0NC Blue Ridge Parkway<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>. And if you\u2019re lucky enough to be there on a rainy day, the music of the rain on the glass roof is unforgettable.\u00a0Brandon and Treyci did not have a first dance at their reception-they saved it for a rainstorm in a greenhouse and Treyci sang the most beautiful rendition of \u201cSomewhere Over The Rainbow\u201d I have ever heard. \u00a0At one point, I realized neither Marissa nor I were shooting, we were so mesmerized by her voice. I still get chills\u2026 And while the rain may have been fear-inducing when we arrived but it ended up being photographic perfection.<\/p>\n

There is just something about being around a couple when they are still in that honeymoon haze. The frenzy of the wedding preparations are over and it is just relaxed happiness.\u00a0The whole day was magical and I hope to do more Afterglow Sessions.
