I adore shooting weddings of couples who adore each other.\u00a0 Jessica and Jason are without a doubt one of those couples\u2026but their wedding was special because it was so much more than just about Jessica and Jason.\u00a0 It signified Jessica, Jason and Mia, Jessica\u2019s 4-year-old daughter, becoming a family.\u00a0 The love all three of them share is genuine and was easy to capture through my lens.<\/p>\n
Their late August wedding wove thoughtful details throughout the day, fully embracing this new, sweet little family.\u00a0 Jessica\u2019s refined taste and bubbly disposition combined with Jason\u2019s \u201csalt of the earth\u201d personality made for a fun and fabulous day. Lovely little Mia was included in all parts of the celebration.\u00a0 The reception at the rustically elegant barn at Adaumont Farm was a full on party and it was a joy to watch two families melt together so beautifully.\u00a0 When the party started breaking out the train, I grabbed a mirror from one of the tables and created a \u201cdouble train\u201d effect in the photograph.\u00a0 The reception was larger than life and I love that the image now reflects that.<\/p>\n
Their wedding day was so hot that we had to ditch the planned outdoor formals.\u00a0 But nothing could damper the mood nor the amazing images we were able to capture of Jessica and Jason.\u00a0 One of my favorite images of the day came from an indoor shot of Jessica\u2026she is walking down the stairs of her new home, dressed in her graceful wedding gown, ready to go to the ceremony\u2026she looks perfectly serene and the image is colorful yet evocatively soft.\u00a0 There is a Grace Kelly air about Jessica and the photograph.\u00a0 I love it because, to me, the photograph is completely Jessica.<\/p>\n
