Somewhere in the midst of their exams, rounds, and taking care of some really sick people, they managed to plan a simply gorgeous and very personal wedding at one of my favorite venues in North Carolina,\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #265e15;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fearrington.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Fearrington Village<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>. I grew up wandering around my grandparents\u2019 farm, chasing the cows, and getting into loads of mischief so I always feel right at home at this beautiful, upscale farm venue. (Note: the farm I grew up on, while very beautiful, could definitely not be called \u201cupscale\u201d.) What impressed me most, aside from the Tara and Sam\u2019s obvious glee at getting married to one another, was the intricate and personal details throughout the wedding. I always talk about the\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #265e15;\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.traciarneyphotography.com\/2012\/03\/08\/notes-for-brides-your-story-is-in-the-details\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Love Notes<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0that every wedding should be filled with and this wedding had them in spades \u2013 signage telling their story, the little gifts from the bride and groom, the signature cocktail that was reminiscent of their favorite popsicle shop in Durham. \u00a0If you didn\u2019t know Tara and Sam before you came to the wedding, you knew then well when you left. It was awesome!<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">What\u2019s your story? How did you two meet?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSam and I met in medical school in upstate NY. We started dating during orientation week! Actually on our first \u201cdate\u201d we went grocery shopping\u2026 very romantic! Our class was only about 100 students so everyone knew that we were dating rather quickly. Many of our friends took bets about how long we would stay together! We\u2019ve been together now for almost 6 years and are about to start our final year of residency at Duke.\u201d \u2013 Tara<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">What was the best gift you were ever given by your Beloved?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cMy family has a tradition of reading the Dr. Seuss Happy Birthday to You book on everyone\u2019s birthday. I told Sam that it never quite feels like my birthday when I\u2019m away from home since we don\u2019t read this book. For my birthday this year, Sam bought me the book and we read it together. I got choked up when I saw it!\u201d \u2013 Tara<\/em><\/p>\n<div><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Why did you choose Fearrington?<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><em>\u201cI hate the typical wedding venue with the standard reception hall. I was so excited to find a place that was so beautiful and unusual. And those cows are pretty cute!\u201d \u2013 Tara<\/em><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Tell me 3 things you really like about your Beloved.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<div><em>\u201c1. She is the sweetest person I have ever met, she puts everyone else first and cares more about others more than I ever met.<\/em><\/div>\n<div><em>\u00a02. She has made me a better person. She finally made me grow up, she made me appreciate my family, and centers me.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u00a03. She corrects my punctuation. Without her I\u2019d have commas splattered everywhere.\u201d \u2013 Sam<\/em><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>What make you love him?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHe\u2019s the most gentle and even tempered person I\u2019ve ever met.
